1. Purpose
All Sports Tips publishes sports tips, analysis, statistics, results and editorial content while also working with commercial partners.
This policy explains how we protect editorial decision-making from improper commercial influence.
2. Core principle
Our tips and analysis are produced independently.
Advertising revenue, affiliate commission, sponsorship or a commercial relationship must not determine:
- Which participant we select;
- Whether we advise a bet;
- The stated confidence in a selection;
- The stake suggested;
- How a result is recorded; or
- Whether critical or unfavourable information is included.
3. Separation of editorial and commercial decisions
Commercial considerations are kept separate from editorial decisions, including where the same staff member has administrative involvement in both areas.
A commercial partner may discuss:
- Advertising format;
- Campaign timing;
- Approved promotional wording;
- Brand guidelines;
- Compliance requirements;
- Tracking arrangements; and
- Placement location.
A commercial partner may not dictate the substance of an independent tip or analysis.
4. Selection process
Tips may be based on factors such as:
- Recent form;
- Course or venue form;
- Distance suitability;
- Going or playing conditions;
- Pace;
- Draw;
- Trainer, jockey, team or player performance;
- Injuries or withdrawals;
- Tactical factors;
- Statistical trends;
- Market price;
- Expected value; and
- The tipster’s experience and judgement.
Different tipsters may use different methods.
No model or method can remove the uncertainty involved in sport.
5. Commercial partners and selections
A bookmaker cannot:
- Buy a tip;
- Pay to be named as the reason for a tip;
- Require a selection at a particular price;
- Require tips in markets that benefit it;
- Require additional staking;
- Pay to change a losing selection;
- Request the deletion of a losing result; or
- Suppress legitimate criticism.
6. Advertising beside tips
Advertisements may appear beside or beneath editorial content.
Advertising will be visually or verbally distinguished using an appropriate label.
The presence of a bookmaker advertisement beside a selection does not mean that the bookmaker:
- Supplied the selection;
- Approved the analysis;
- Offers the best price; or
- Is the only operator at which the bet is available.
7. Bookmaker and offer coverage
Commercial partners may receive paid visibility on advertising pages.
Where we publish an editorial comparison or assessment, we aim to explain the material criteria used.
Commercial payment will be disclosed where it affects:
- Position;
- Prominence;
- Inclusion;
- Featured status; or
- Presentation.
8. Accuracy and verification
We aim to check material facts before publication using reasonably reliable information.
However, sports information can change quickly.
Examples include:
- Non-runners;
- Team changes;
- Injuries;
- Going changes;
- Postponements;
- Market movements;
- Rule changes; and
- Late withdrawals.
Users should verify current information before betting.
9. Corrections
Material factual errors should be corrected promptly once identified.
Where appropriate, we may:
- Edit the original content;
- Add a correction note;
- Publish an updated message;
- Correct a result;
- Amend a calculation; or
- Explain the reason for the change.
Corrections must not be used to disguise a losing tip or retrospectively improve a record.
10. Results transparency
Where results or performance records are published, we aim to:
- Include losing selections as well as winners;
- Treat non-runners and void selections consistently;
- Apply stated staking rules consistently;
- Explain the period measured;
- Identify whether figures use advised prices or starting prices;
- Apply relevant deductions and dead-heat rules;
- Avoid presenting isolated results as guaranteed future performance; and
- Correct genuine settlement errors.
The methodology used for a particular performance table may be explained beside that table or on a separate results-methodology page.
11. Published odds
Where an advised price is recorded, it should reflect a price reasonably available at or around publication.
We do not claim that every user could obtain the same price or stake.
Published returns may differ from an individual’s outcome because of:
- Price movement;
- Stake restrictions;
- Different each-way terms;
- Rule 4 deductions;
- Commission;
- Bet acceptance; or
- Timing.
12. Staking content
Staking suggestions are general information and are not personalised financial advice.
Users should decide their own affordable limits.
We will not promote staking intended to:
- Recover losses urgently;
- Use borrowed money;
- Risk essential household funds;
- Guarantee income; or
- Encourage uncontrolled gambling.
13. Tipster interests
Tipsters may personally bet on selections they publish.
A material financial or commercial interest beyond an ordinary personal bet should be disclosed where it could reasonably affect how readers assess the content.
Staff and tipsters must not knowingly:
- Publish false information to move a market;
- Manipulate results;
- Misrepresent a bet as having been placed;
- Fabricate performance information; or
- Accept secret payment for editorial influence.
14. Gifts and hospitality
Reasonable event access, hospitality or promotional material may be accepted.
Where hospitality or a significant benefit is directly relevant to published coverage, it should be disclosed when a reasonable reader would consider it material.
Hospitality does not guarantee favourable coverage.
15. Use of data, models and technology
We may use:
- Sporting databases;
- Statistics;
- Ratings;
- Spreadsheets;
- Modelling tools;
- Automated calculations; and
- Artificial-intelligence-assisted research or drafting tools.
A named tipster or editor remains responsible for the final published selection or conclusion.
Technology-assisted content must not be presented as certain or infallible.
16. Reviews and testimonials
Reviews and testimonials must not be fabricated.
We will not knowingly:
- Publish fake customer reviews;
- Hide genuine negative feedback solely because it is negative;
- Misrepresent an incentivised review as independent; or
- Edit a testimonial so that its meaning becomes misleading.
An incentivised testimonial should be disclosed where required.
17. Editorial complaints
Concerns about:
- A result;
- A correction;
- Undisclosed sponsorship;
- A potential conflict;
- Misleading performance information; or
- Commercial influence
can be sent to info@allsportstips.com.
Please identify the relevant content and explain the concern clearly.
